04/27               FORSAKE ALL FOR HIM

“So then, none of you can be My disciple who does not give up all his own possessions.” (Luke 14:33)
Discipleship demands open hands. Nothing can rival Christ’s place. Forsaking all means loosening the grip on earthly security. Christ becomes treasure, and everything serves His purpose.

  • Possessions often possess us.
  • Open hands reveal open hearts.
  • Christ becomes the supreme treasure.

Poem – Open Hands
I release my grasp
on what I hold,
trusting Your worth
above all.

You are my treasure,
pure and strong,
outshining every
earthly gain.

What I give up
I gain in You,
the Lord
of all.

Prayer
Lord, free my heart from clinging to possessions. Teach me to treasure Christ above all and hold earthly things loosely. Make my surrender real and joyful.
