04/22   OBEY HIS COMMANDS

“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.” (John 14:15)
Self-denial expresses itself in obedience. Obedience is the fruit of love, not legalism. Christ’s commands are invitations to walk in His freedom and wisdom. Following Him means trusting His words above our impulses.

  • Love fuels obedience.
  • Christ’s commands are life-giving, not burdensome.
  • Obedience is the path of discipleship.

Poem – The Way of Love
Your commands guide me,
clear and kind,
calling me deeper
into grace.

Obedience grows
where love abides,
turning surrender
into joy.

Teach me Your ways,
steady and sure,
and let love
lead my steps.

Prayer
Lord, teach me to obey out of love. Align my heart with Your commands and let obedience become my joy. Lead me in the way of Christ.
