02/28 – Contentment in Christ

…I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. (Philippians 4:11)

Contentment is not found in possessions but in Christ. Paul’s labor flowed from trust in Jesus, not from greed. Quiet lives are marked by content hearts.
Exalting Christ means resting in His sufficiency. Whether in plenty or in want, He is enough.

  • Christ is the source of contentment.
  • Circumstances cannot give what Jesus gives.
  • Contentment is learned through Christ.
  • Quiet hearts exalt the sufficiency of Jesus.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, teach us contentment. We chase more when You are enough. Quiet our restless desires with Your presence.
Holy Spirit, remind us daily that Christ is sufficient. Let our contentment show the world the surpassing worth of Jesus.

Poem — “Enough”
Hearts learn Christ.
Desires find rest.
Souls breathe peace.
Needs are met.
Jesus is enough.

Plenty does not fill.
Lack does not break.
Faith does not waver.
Hope does not fail.
Christ sustains all.

Contentment exalts Him.
Peace glorifies Him.
Rest honors Him.
Faith trusts Him.
Love treasures Him.
