02/07 – Love That Bears Burdens

Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2)

The law of Christ is the law of love. To bear another’s burden is to walk in His steps. He bore our sin, our shame, and our cross. When we share the weight of others, we echo Calvary.
Burden-bearing is not optional; it is obedience. Love that refuses to bear is love in word only. But when we stoop to help, we exalt Jesus, the burden-bearer of our souls.

  • Christ bore the ultimate burden—our sin.
  • To bear with others is to reflect Him.
  • Burden-bearing fulfills the law of Christ.
  • Love stoops under the weight of another.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, You carried what we could not. You bore our guilt and shame to the cross. Teach us to carry the loads of our brothers and sisters. Let our arms mirror Yours.
Holy Spirit, give us endurance when we are weary. Give us compassion when we are tempted to pass by. Let Christ’s burden-bearing love mark our lives.

Poem — “Weight Carried Together”
One stumbles under the load.
Another reaches down.
Hands steady.
Shoulders strengthen.
Christ is remembered.

Sin’s burden crushed Him.
The cross bowed His back.
Love held Him fast.
Grace carried the weight.
Mercy triumphed.

Now we walk together.
Now we share the load.
Now we fulfill the law.
Now we exalt Jesus.
Now love is complete.
