01/11 – A New Mercy

Lamentations 3:22–23 (NASB)
“The Lord’s acts of mercy indeed do not end, for His compassions do not fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

Devotional Thought:
Every morning is a new beginning with God’s mercy. Gratitude rises at dawn, knowing yesterday’s failures are met with today’s compassion.

Three Comments:

  1. Gratitude remembers that mercy has no end.
  2. God’s compassion is as fresh as the sunrise.
  3. Gratitude rests in His daily faithfulness.

Poem – “New Every Morning”
The night may hold sorrow,
But morning brings mercy,
The compassions are new,
The faithfulness sure,
The heart finds hope.

The failures are many,
But His mercy is more,
The compassions unending,
The love everlasting,
The promise secure.

Gratitude greets the dawn,
Faith trusts His hand,
Hope sees His mercy,
Peace rests in His faithfulness,
Joy sings His name.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You that Your mercies are new every morning. Thank You that Your compassion never fails.
Help me to live each day as a fresh beginning in Your faithfulness. May gratitude mark my mornings and shape my days.
