11/23 – God’s Deliverance

Psalm 34:17–18 (NASB)
“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears
And rescues them from all their troubles.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
And saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Devotional Thought:
Deliverance is not always the removal of problems, but God’s nearness in them. Gratitude lifts our cry, knowing He hears, rescues, and saves.

Three Comments:

  1. Gratitude believes God is near in brokenness.
  2. Deliverance is both an act of rescue and a presence of comfort.
  3. Gratitude remembers past deliverances to trust Him today.

Poem – “The Rescue”
Troubles rise like waters,
But the Lord bends to hear,
The cry does not go unnoticed,
The broken are not forsaken,
The crushed are not forgotten.

Rescue comes in His time,
Strength comes in His presence,
Peace comes in His nearness,
Hope comes in His word,
Deliverance belongs to Him.

Gratitude sings in the valley,
Faith waits in the storm,
The heart rests in His care,
The soul leans on His promise,
The spirit rejoices in His rescue.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You that You hear the cry of the righteous. Thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and never far from the crushed.
Teach me to live in gratitude for every rescue. May my trust in You grow deeper because of Your deliverance.
