11/20 – God’s Healing

Psalm 103:2–3 (NASB)
“Bless the Lord, my soul,
And do not forget any of His benefits;
Who pardons all your guilt,
Who heals all your diseases.”

Devotional Thought:
Gratitude remembers that God is both Healer of body and Redeemer of soul. Every healing is a reminder that our ultimate wholeness is in Him.

Three Comments:

  1. Gratitude praises the God who heals both sin and sickness.
  2. Healing is both present in part and promised in fullness.
  3. Gratitude looks beyond the illness to the One who makes us whole.

Poem – “The Healer”
Sickness does not have the final word,
Sin does not write my story,
The Lord forgives and restores,
The Healer makes me whole,
His mercy renews my soul.

The body may ache with weakness,
But His power is not diminished,
Every touch of healing is grace,
Every promise is hope,
Every breath is gift.

Gratitude blesses the Healer,
Praise rises from the restored,
Faith looks to His mercy,
Hope trusts in His name,
Wholeness rests in His hand.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You that You heal body and soul. Thank You that forgiveness and restoration come from You alone.
Teach me to remember Your benefits and not take them for granted. May gratitude fill my heart for every healing, and may my life bless Your name.
