July 28: The Eternal God is Your Refuge

“The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.”
— Deuteronomy 33:27 (NKJV)

5 Points:

  1. God’s eternity makes His refuge unshakable.
  2. His arms of strength never grow tired.
  3. His support holds us even when we fall.
  4. We rest in arms that no enemy can break.
  5. His embrace stretches beyond time itself.

Poem: Underneath the Everlasting Arms

The cliffs may crumble under feet.
The bridges may shatter in the flood.
But your arms stretch beneath the fall.
You catch the slipping, broken steps.
You build new ground under the wreck.

The night may split the trusted trails.
The towers may fall into the sea.
But your arms still cradle the earth.
Your hands hold the breaking stones.
Your mercy builds roads through ruin.

The heart may falter under weight.
The knees may bend beneath the grief.
But your arms bend lower still.
Your love lifts the fallen dreams.
Your grace carries the bowed soul.

The years may rush in endless race.
The faces may turn and fade away.
But your arms gather every lost song.
Your breath stirs life into dry bones.
Your strength sings louder than time.

Today I trust your arms of old.
Today I rest in your ageless strength.
You are the cradle for my weary days.
You are the home at every end.
You are the arms that never fail.
