June 27: The Lord Guides the Humble

“He will guide the humble in justice, and the humble He teaches His way.”
— Psalm 25:9 (NKJV)

5 Points:

  1. God leads those who are willing to listen and bow.
  2. Humility opens our heart to His direction.
  3. Justice and righteousness follow those who walk humbly.
  4. Pride resists God’s leadership, but humility receives it.
  5. Humble hearts are taught and led by God Himself.

The Way of the Lowly

The proud lose their way in noise.
The strong stumble over their pride.
But the humble find your steps sure.
The quiet hear your clear voice.
The lowly walk in your light.

You bend down to teach the bowed.
You lift the heads of the meek.
You carve paths through tangled woods.
You lead the simple by the hand.
You call the small by their name.

I lay down my stubborn heart today.
I set aside the armor of pride.
I lift empty hands to your throne.
I bow my will to your breath.
I wait for the steps you bless.

The road may not sparkle and shine.
The way may not seem grand to men.
But your path humbles the proud.
Your way builds eternal halls.
Your justice flows through quiet steps.

Today I choose the way of the humble.
Today I trust your hand, not mine.
Lead me in the ways of your heart.
Teach me in the silence of trust.
Guide me by the wisdom of love.

Daily Prayer:
“Father, humble my heart today so that I may walk in your justice and wisdom.”
