June 22: He Leads Me for His Name’s Sake

Scripture:
“He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.”
— Psalm 23:3b (NKJV)

5 Points:

  1. God’s leadership is tied to His holy character.
  2. His righteousness shapes our journey for His glory.
  3. We walk rightly not for our fame, but for His.
  4. Every step on His path reveals His goodness.
  5. God’s name is honored when we follow Him well.

Poem: For His Name

You do not lead me for my praise.
You do not guide me for my gain.
You draw my heart for your glory.
You carve my path with your love.
You walk with me for your name.

The road of righteousness winds high.
It climbs beyond the valleys of pride.
It cuts through the fields of fear.
It travels the hills of humility.
It shines with the weight of your name.

I am small under the stars you set.
I am weak beside your endless seas.
Still you call me by your righteousness.
Still you lift me by your grace.
Still you walk with me in light.

The steps I take today are yours.
The choices I make are seen by you.
You measure my heart by surrender.
You teach my steps to sing.
You make the journey holy.

Today I walk for your honor, Lord.
Today I step because you called.
Today I live because you lead.
Your name is my north star.
Your name is my greatest song.

Daily Prayer:
“Father, lead me today for the sake of Your great name and Your glory.”
