Today's Good News

May 29           Psalm 46:10

“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

Four Points:

  1. Stillness Is Spiritual Strength – Stillness reflects trust, not laziness or inaction.
  2. Knowing God Requires Silence – To know Him deeply, we must quiet the noise around and within.
  3. God Will Be Exalted – No matter the chaos, His glory will prevail.
  4. Stillness Prepares Us to See – In stillness, our spiritual vision is restored.

Be Still and Know
The world may spin, the news may scream,
But stillness leads to holy dream.
When hands are still, the heart can hear,
The voice of God that draws us near.
We pause to know that He is King.

The noise around will never cease,
But in His name, we enter peace.
Not in control, yet held secure,
His steadfast love will still endure.
He calms the storm within the soul.

He will be praised in every land,
No force can break what He has planned.
Though nations rage and tempests rise,
His throne is firm above the skies.
He will be known for who He is.

So I will wait and not rush on,
I’ll trust until the fear is gone.
In stillness, I will lift my eyes,
And see His rule above the skies.
He reigns in rest and strength and peace.
