05/12          Acts 3:6-7

“Then Peter said, ‘Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.’ Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong.”

JESUS HEALS

A man sat at the temple gate,
Lame from birth, longing for mercy,
Silver and gold were not his need,
But something far greater awaited,
A touch from the power of Christ.

Peter looked upon him and spoke,
“In the name of Jesus, rise and walk!”
No wealth could have bought this moment,
No strength could have brought him to his feet,
Yet faith made him whole in an instant.

He leaped, he ran, he rejoiced,
No longer bound by his past,
The crowd marveled at what they saw,
A life restored, a testimony proclaimed,
That Jesus still heals the broken.

The name of Christ has not changed,
His power still lifts the weary,
Those who trust in His authority,
Will rise from the dust of despair,
And walk in the joy of healing.
