28.       Love That Calls Us Higher

1 Peter 1:15–16
“But like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, ‘You shall be holy, for I am holy.’”

God’s love does not leave you where you are—it calls you higher. It calls you into holiness, into likeness, into Christ.

This call is not burdensome; it is transformative. God’s love lifts you into a life that reflects His nature. In Christ, holiness becomes both possible and necessary.

  • Jesus calls us into holiness.
  • God’s love transforms our conduct.
  • We are called to reflect His nature.

How to put this to work in my daily walk
Pursue holiness intentionally. Make choices that reflect God’s character.

How can I grow in my love for God
Desire what He desires. Alignment deepens love.

Prayer
Father, thank You for calling me higher. Do not let me settle for less than Your will.

Jesus, shape my life into Your likeness. Let me walk in holiness and truth.
