17. James 5:14-15

  2. Anointing with oil symbolizes the work of the Holy Spirit in healing.
  3. Faith-filled prayers activate divine healing.
  4. Healing can be both physical and spiritual restoration.
  5. The act of calling the elders demonstrates community support in faith.

Poem on James 5:14-15

Stanza 1
Is there one among you weary?
Let them call upon the Lord,
Let the faithful stand in prayer,
For healing is in His hands,
And restoration is in His name.

Stanza 2
Anoint with oil, lay hands in faith,
Not by human power but by God,
For when we call, He listens,
And when we trust, He moves,
Bringing health to body and soul.

Stanza 3
The prayer of faith is mighty,
Not in the words but in the trust,
For the Lord hears the cries of His people,
And in His mercy, He raises them up,
Turning sorrow into joy.

Stanza 4
So come before Him with confidence,
Let hope arise in the broken,
For the Lord who heals has not changed,
His power is still at work,
And His mercy never ends.
