15. FORGIVE FREELY

  1. Forgive Freely
    Scripture: Ephesians 4:32
    Relevant Scripture:
“Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.”

Few things change somebody’s world like undeserved forgiveness. The gospel is the story of God forgiving the guilty through Christ. When believers forgive, they display the gospel visibly.

Bitterness destroys; forgiveness heals. Forgiveness may not remove all consequences, but it breaks the chain of hatred.

  • Forgiveness reflects the cross.
  • Bitter hearts cannot minister effectively.
  • Grace given should become grace extended.

How This Changes My Life Day by Day

  • I release grudges quickly.
  • I remember how much I have been forgiven.
  • I choose grace over retaliation.
  • I protect my heart from bitterness.

What This Equips Me To Do

  • Reconcile broken relationships.
  • Reflect gospel grace practically.
  • Minister without resentment.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank You for forgiving my immeasurable debt. Help me forgive as I have been forgiven. Free my heart from bitterness and make me a vessel of reconciling grace. Amen.
