11/24 – God’s Justice

Micah 6:8 (NASB)
“He has told you, mortal one, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justice, to love kindness,
And to walk humbly with your God?”

Devotional Thought:
God is just, and His justice is good. Gratitude remembers that His justice is rooted in His holiness and calls us to reflect His character in how we live.

Three Comments:

  1. Gratitude honors God’s justice as protection, not threat.
  2. His justice is never divorced from mercy and humility.
  3. Gratitude compels us to walk rightly with others.

Poem – “The God of Justice”
His law is holy and true,
His ways are righteous and pure,
Justice flows from His throne,
Mercy walks beside it,
Humility follows close.

The oppressed are not forgotten,
The guilty are not ignored,
The Judge is righteous and fair,
The King is merciful and kind,
The Lord is holy in all His ways.

Gratitude honors His commands,
Justice becomes my calling,
Mercy shapes my actions,
Humility bends my heart,
Faithfulness marks my walk.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You that Your justice is perfect and Your ways are right. Thank You that You call me to walk in justice, mercy, and humility.
Help me to reflect Your character with gratitude. May my life testify to Your righteousness and grace.
