11/12 – God’s Forgiveness – 1 John 1:9 (NASB) “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Forgiveness is not a theory but a promise. Gratitude blooms when we confess, for God not only forgives but cleanses us completely in Christ.
- Gratitude thrives in the soil of grace that covers sin.
- Confession is the doorway to restoration.
- Forgiveness is not partial but complete, cleansing every stain.
“The Cleansing”
Sin weighed down my soul,
Shame whispered lies of defeat,
But mercy met me in confession,
Grace covered my failure,
Cleansing made me whole.
The cross stands as my pardon,
The blood speaks a better word,
Righteousness clothes my guilt,
Forgiveness writes my story,
Peace takes the place of fear.
Gratitude sings of mercy,
Joy rises from cleansing,
The past no longer chains me,
The present rests in grace,
The future belongs to God.
Lord, thank You for the forgiveness that flows freely through Jesus. Thank You that confession never meets rejection but restoration.
Help me walk daily in the freedom of Your cleansing. Let gratitude silence shame and lift my life in praise to the One who forgives all sins.
