11/07 The Gift of Prayer and Access to God – Hebrews 4:16 (NASB)
“Therefore let’s approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace for help at the time of our need.”
Prayer is not a last resort but a daily privilege. Gratitude grows when we realize that God’s throne is open, and we are welcomed as children, not strangers.
- Gratitude deepens when we value access more than answers.
- Prayer is a throne room, not a burden.
- Confidence comes not from us but from Christ’s intercession.
“The Throne of Grace”
I enter not in fear,
The door is open wide,
Mercy waits for the broken,
Grace welcomes the weak,
Help comes in the moment of need.
The King is not distant,
The Father bends to hear,
Every sigh is known,
Every cry is treasured,
Every prayer is carried upward.
Gratitude kneels in wonder,
Confidence rises in hope,
The throne is a place of rest,
The presence a place of peace,
The answer is always grace.
Father, thank You for the privilege of prayer. Thank You that I can approach You with confidence because of Jesus.
Help me treasure this access and practice it daily. Let gratitude fill my prayers, and let my heart rest in the assurance that You hear and answer.
