Today's Good News

11/04.   God’s Word, Scripture –

Psalm 119:105 (NASB) “Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.”

Gratitude deepens when we hold the Bible not as an old book, but as God’s living voice. His Word directs, corrects, and sustains us in ways nothing else can.

  1. Gratitude grows when Scripture shifts from information to transformation.
  2. The lamp does not remove the darkness, but it guides us through it.
  3. To thank God for His Word is to honor His voice above our own.

 “The Lamp That Guides”
Light falls upon my steps,
Darkness cannot claim the path,
Your Word steadies trembling feet,
Truth marks the way ahead,
My soul walks sure in You.

The world is loud with confusion,
But Scripture holds its course,
Commandments guard my soul,
Promises raise my hope,
Wisdom anchors my days.

I will not walk without the lamp,
I will not choose my own way,
Your Word speaks life to my heart,
Your law is joy to my spirit,
Your truth is peace to my mind.

Lord, thank You for the light of Your Word. Without it, I would stumble. With it, I can walk securely in Your ways.
May gratitude drive me to read, obey, and share Your truth today. Let my heart rejoice in every promise and my steps be firm upon every command.
