Today's Good News

11/03.          The Indwelling Holy Spirit –

John 14:16–17 (NASB) “I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, so that He may be with you forever; the Helper is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him; but you know Him because He remains with you and will be in you.”

The Spirit is not an occasional guest but a permanent resident in the believer. Gratitude wells up when we realize we are never alone—God Himself dwells within.

  1. Gratitude flows when we acknowledge His nearness in every moment.
  2. The Spirit is the Helper we cannot live without and too often overlook.
  3. Daily thanksgiving trains us to walk in step with His voice.

“The Helper Within”
The Spirit breathes where I falter,
Truth whispers louder than lies,
Counsel steadies my wandering heart,
Strength comes in hidden ways,
God Himself abides in me.

I do not walk a deserted road,
His presence is constant light,
Fear bends beneath His power,
Loneliness is silenced by His voice,
Companionship carries me forward.

Every day is marked by His guidance,
Every prayer is lifted by His help,
Every weakness finds His supply,
Every moment is filled with His peace,
Every step belongs to His care.

Prayer:
Holy Spirit, thank You that You live in me. I do not face this day without guidance, comfort, and strength. Teach me to treasure Your presence.
Guard me from quenching or grieving You. Fill me with gratitude that You will never leave or forsake me, but remain as Helper, Counselor, and Friend.
