05/03          Isaiah 53:5 – HEALING

“But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.”

  1. Healing was provided through Christ’s suffering and sacrifice.
  2. This healing extends to both the body and soul, offering restoration.
  3. The atonement includes both salvation and physical healing.
  4. Jesus bore our pain so that we could walk in freedom.
  5. Faith in Christ’s finished work releases healing into our lives.

HEALING COMPLETE

A man stood silent before His accusers,
Bearing wounds not His own,
Upon His back lay our sorrow,
Upon His shoulders, our shame,
Upon His body, our healing.

Each stripe was a mark of love,
Each wound a cry for redemption,
He was crushed, yet we were lifted,
He was broken, yet we were restored,
He was pierced, yet we were healed.

The weight of sin was laid upon Him,
The punishment that brought us peace,
Through suffering, He secured salvation,
Through sorrow, He gave us joy,
Through death, He gave us life.

By His wounds, we are made whole,
By His love, we are drawn near,
No sickness stands against His power,
No pain is beyond His reach,
For in Christ, healing is complete
