04/08     TAKE UP HIS YOKE

“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me… and you will find rest for your souls.” (Matthew 11:29)
Self-denial is not unbearable burden—it is shared work with Christ. Taking His yoke means submitting to His teaching and letting Him bear the weight. His yoke brings rest, not exhaustion.

  • Christ carries what we cannot.
  • His yoke gives rest, not heaviness.
  • Discipleship is learned from Jesus Himself.

Poem – Your Yoke
I take Your yoke,
light and gentle,
teaching my soul
to rest.

You walk beside me,
carrying the weight,
showing me peace
in obedience.

Your burden lifts me,
Your grace strengthens me,
and in Your presence
I find rest.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, place Your yoke upon me. Teach me Your ways, lighten my burdens, and give rest to my soul. Let me learn obedience through Your gentle leading.
