03/31   DRAW NEAR THROUGH THE CROSS

“But now in Christ Jesus you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” (Ephesians 2:13)
The cross is the doorway into God’s presence. We do not come by merit, performance, or religious effort—we come by the blood of Jesus. The cross removes the distance, defeats the barrier, and opens the way to fellowship with God forever.

  • Nearness is purchased, not earned.
  • The blood of Christ removes every barrier.
  • The cross is God’s welcome to the world.

Poem – The Near Way
Your cross draws me close,
breaking the distance,
opening the way
to the Father’s heart.

Your blood speaks mercy,
stronger than failure,
calling me near
without fear.

I come by Your grace,
nothing of my own,
resting in the nearness
You purchased.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for drawing me near by Your blood. Let the cross remain my confidence, my refuge, and my access to God. Keep me close, cleanse my heart, and deepen my walk in Your grace.
