“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (John 10:27)
Christ speaks—not in confusion but in clarity. His voice aligns with Scripture, leads toward holiness, and strengthens faith. Listening is not passive; it is attentive obedience. When we quiet lesser voices, the Shepherd’s voice becomes unmistakable.
- Jesus speaks to lead, not merely to inform.
- His voice produces obedience, not curiosity.
- The Shepherd knows the sheep who listen.
Poem – The Shepherd’s Word
Your voice finds me
in the clutter of my thoughts,
calling me by name
with mercy and truth.
I lean in to hear You,
to follow where You go,
to trust Your leading
when paths grow dim.
Your word steadies me,
guides my wandering steps,
and keeps me close
to the heart of the Shepherd.
Prayer
Lord, open my ears to Your voice. Silence competing voices and teach me to recognize Your leading. Let Your Word shape my direction and Your Spirit guide my steps. Keep me close to You, Shepherd of my soul.
