02/25 – Providing and Witness

So that you will behave properly toward outsiders and not be in any need. (1 Thessalonians 4:12)

Paul ties work to witness. Laziness discredits the gospel. Providing through honest labor honors Christ and shows His sufficiency.
Exalting Jesus means living in such a way that outsiders see integrity, diligence, and contentment. Our work reflects His provision.

  • Work is testimony to outsiders.
  • Laziness weakens witness.
  • Providing shows Christ’s sufficiency.
  • Integrity in labor glorifies Jesus.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, let our lives commend the gospel. Keep us from laziness. Make our work a testimony to Your sufficiency and goodness.
Holy Spirit, empower us to live with integrity before outsiders. Let them see Christ in our diligence and contentment.

Poem — “Work as Witness”
Hands show Christ.
Lives reflect Him.
Labor preaches truth.
Integrity speaks loud.
Jesus is honored.

Outsiders watch closely.
Witness shines clearly.
Work proves faith.
Provision shows God.
Glory goes higher.

Content hearts speak.
Diligent lives testify.
Quiet faith proclaims.
Jesus is enough.
Jesus is Lord.
