02/19 – Still Waters

He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. (Psalm 23:2)

The Shepherd leads His sheep to quiet waters. Jesus is that Shepherd. His leadership is not frantic but faithful. Quiet waters symbolize His provision, His peace, His care.
Exalting Jesus is trusting His guidance. He does not lead into chaos but into calm. He knows the way to still waters.

  • Christ leads where peace is found.
  • Quiet waters are proof of His care.
  • The Shepherd knows better than the sheep.
  • Rest is the gift of His guidance.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, Shepherd of our souls, lead us again beside quiet waters. We wander into noise and worry, but You restore us with peace. Keep us close to You.
Holy Spirit, tune our ears to the Shepherd’s voice. Keep us from straying. Let the peace of Christ rule our hearts.

Poem — “Quiet Waters”
The Shepherd leads well.
The path is sure.
The pastures are green.
The waters are quiet.
Christ is near.

Peace flows deep.
Hearts rest safe.
Souls find strength.
Faith grows steady.
Hope returns strong.

Jesus is Shepherd.
Jesus is guide.
Jesus is rest.
Jesus is peace.
Jesus is enough.
