02/17 – Quietness Before God

My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my hope is from Him. (Psalm 62:5)

Quietness is not emptiness—it is focus. David waited in silence for God. His hope was not in strategy but in the Lord. Christ fulfills this. He is the hope our souls wait for.
Silence before God is faith at rest. To exalt Jesus is to trust Him enough to stop striving and to sit still in His presence.

  • Silence before God is not wasted—it is worship.
  • Hope grows in waiting.
  • Quietness proves trust.
  • Christ alone satisfies the soul.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, teach us to wait. We rush when we should rest. We strive when we should trust. Quiet our souls in Your presence until You are our only hope.
Holy Spirit, guard us from distractions. Teach us to value silence before God. Let Christ fill what noise tries to cover.

Poem — “Silence of Faith”
Noise leaves the heart empty.
Silence fills it with Christ.
Hope rests steady.
Faith grows quietly.
Peace reigns fully.

Waiting is worship.
Trust is proven.
Christ is enough.
Grace is present.
Glory is near.

Quietness honors Him.
Stillness magnifies Him.
Silence exalts Him.
Faith rests in Him.
Jesus reigns forever.
