02/13 – Strength in Quietness

In repentance and rest you will be saved, in quietness and trust is your strength. (Isaiah 30:15)

Strength is not noise but surrender. Israel trusted in horses and alliances; God called them back to quietness and trust. Christ fulfills this. He is our peace, our strength, our salvation.
Quietness is not weakness. It is faith anchored in God’s power. To exalt Jesus is to rest in Him instead of striving in ourselves. Strength is found at the cross, not in our noise.

  • Quiet trust is stronger than loud striving.
  • Christ is our strength when we stop pretending we are.
  • Faith rests because Jesus reigns.
  • Salvation is anchored in His power, not ours.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus, forgive us for trusting our noise more than Your name. Teach us that strength is not found in control but in surrender. Quiet our souls until we rest in You alone.
Holy Spirit, anchor us in Christ’s power. When fear rises, remind us that He reigns. Let our quiet confidence exalt Him before the world.

Poem — “Strength in Silence”
Noise demands attention.
Faith waits quietly.
Pride shouts loudly.
Grace whispers power.
Christ is enough.

Trust rests steady.
Hearts lean on Him.
Strength comes low.
Peace stands tall.
Jesus is near.

Silence honors God.
Stillness glorifies Christ.
Quietness proves faith.
Strength belongs to Him.
Glory returns to Jesus.
