01- Love That Never Changes

Malachi 3:6
“For I, the Lord, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed.”

God’s love is not subject to mood, moment, or movement. What He is toward you today, He has always been, and He will always be. His love is anchored in His unchanging nature, not in your changing behavior. If His love rose and fell with your performance, you would be lost before you began.

This is where grace stands firm. God does not love you more when you succeed or less when you fail. His love is steady because it is rooted in who He is, not in who you are. And because He does not change, His love remains your sure refuge in every season.

  • Jesus is the unchanging expression of the Father’s love.
  • The cross proves God’s love is not conditional.
  • Stability in God’s love produces stability in our souls.

How to put this to work in my daily walk
Begin each day resting in the truth that God’s love is already settled. Refuse to measure His love by your feelings or failures. Walk in confidence, not in fear, because His love does not fluctuate.

How can I grow in my love for God
Meditate on His unchanging character daily. Let gratitude replace striving. As you see His consistency, your heart will respond with deeper trust and affection.

Prayer
Father, I come before You grateful that Your love does not change. When I am weak, You are still strong; when I wander, You remain faithful. Teach me to rest in what You have already settled.

Lord Jesus, anchor my heart in Your unchanging love. Let me not live by feelings or fears, but by the truth of who You are. Draw me deeper into a love that is secure, steady, and strong.
