01/30 – A New Everything

Revelation 21:5 (NASB)
“And He who sits on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’ And He said, ‘Write, for these words are faithful and true.’”

Devotional Thought:
The One on the throne guarantees the greatest new beginning: all things made new. Gratitude rests in a future secured by words that are faithful and true.

Three Comments:

  1. Gratitude trusts the throne from which renewal is decreed.
  2. “All things new” includes creation, history, and our lives.
  3. Gratitude takes God at His word and lives in expectant hope.

Poem – “All Things New”
The voice came from the throne,
The promise was clear,
Nothing left untouched,
Everything renewed,
Hope sealed forever.

The broken made whole,
The weary at rest,
The story redeemed,
The pages rewritten,
The end filled with light.

Gratitude believes the word,
Faith holds the promise,
Hope lifts its eyes,
Peace waits with patience,
Joy welcomes the day.

Prayer:
King of glory, thank You that You are making all things new. Thank You that Your words are faithful and true.
Teach me to live today in the light of tomorrow. May gratitude guard my heart as I wait for the renewal You have promised.
