01/28 – A New Dwelling

Revelation 21:3 (NASB)
“And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is among the people, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them.’”

Devotional Thought:
The greatest new beginning is God Himself dwelling with His people. Gratitude rests in the promise that we will be His forever.

Three Comments:

  1. Gratitude rejoices that God will dwell with His people.
  2. His presence is our eternal home.
  3. Gratitude lives today in light of this eternal promise.

Poem – “God With Us Forever”
The voice was loud,
The promise clear,
God would dwell,
The people His,
The joy eternal.

The presence remained,
The love endured,
The fellowship complete,
The tears removed,
The peace secure.

Gratitude rejoices today,
Faith looks ahead,
Hope rests in His word,
Peace waits in His presence,
Joy sings forever.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You that You will dwell with us forever. Thank You that we will be Your people and You our God.
Teach me to live in gratitude for this promise. May my life reflect the joy of knowing You will never leave.
