Today - Right Now

I gotta go today
Tomorrow's far away
Idling my time, anxious
I want it now
It's so important
And yet again it has a sting
The things I want disappoint.

I look at you Lord and see the promise
Make me whole, set me free
I want to be the way I see
Handsome, loving, kind and me
Take away the hands that hurt
I want to walk out of the dirt
I need your power to be free.

Money, place and things deceive
Inside of me are wars
You offer peace
I forget, I want to be free
Walking back to the dirt
It keeps hurting me
Shield me from the storm I start.

Now it's time to make a choice
I want to be like you Lord
I want to know the end is real
Stand like steel for good
