Talking With God

Protect me Lord
I’m not sure the roads I’ll walk today
Send an angel to walk with me
Keep me safe along the way.

Hear me Lord
I have much to say
Life is hard and I’m so weak
Keep me on the narrow way.

Help those you’ve sent me too
Their needs are very great
And I am not wise enough to help them
Often I don’t know what to say.

Forgive me Lord
My sin pours out from me
It comes again and again
Help me put it away.

Use me Lord this day
Give me a word to speak and a smile to give
I know many who are hurting more than me
I would like to help them live today.

Now my day is done Jesus
Thank you for walking with me
You’ve proven again you can meet my needs
Thank you for today.
