Mornings are Best

I like mornings best
They wipe away the weight of night
I feel the life return
To all that is around me.

Morning steam from coffee cups
Showers stinging streams
Setting out the new born day
Looking for the joy.

Turning not to right or left
Ever inching forward
Yesterday's division done
There is no tomorrow.

I love the way that life is birthed
What a way to live
Always seeing Eden's reign
Nestled in the morning plain.
