I Will Carry You

I feel stupid
Like it will never change
The days and nights are real
But life is the same.
Wisdom seems so hard to please
Standing at a distance
Driving me to my knees.
And then the moment comes
I make the same mistake
Poorly chosen words
Foolish response I make.

It's not others I blame
I feel like stupid is in my name
Uncontrolled and foolish life
How can I change my strife?

Then from my heart Jesus speaks
I'm here to help you live
I see the way you face each day
I died to set you on your way.

I know all about you
Even when you will fail
I still love for you
Would you like to see the nail?

Let me help you deal with this
I will walk with thee
Burdens are much easier when shared
I'll even carry you with me.
