Hurting

Precious love embodied few
HE died for me, saving you
Nights and days rumbling bye
You never knew how hard I cried.
Pain destroyed the one who was
Remaking me anew
Never more the traveling one
That left you lonely by the road
I never wanted life in full
Color prints would do just fine
But 3-D happens ready or not
And you were destroyed
Blanketed by pain, numbed by loss
I didn’t care who saw
He used it like knife, cutting to the bone
Reaching down inside of me
I wanted to let go, just stop the pain
My love knew more than me
He said to me He’d care for you
I held His Word thru days and years
One day the hurt was gone, the healing done
He had made me whole.
