God is always here
Not controlled by time
Life is not a barrier
He is not behind.
The Lord makes our world work
Giving rules for life
They are here to help us
Not to define God’s place.
Heartache, and strife define me
I struggle and often lose
The Lord is wise He knows the end
He made my life begin.
The Lord does things His way
He’s not waiting for my advice
I can choose to follow Jesus
Or I can go my own way.
We are here together trying hard to find our way
God made us to help one another
Some refuse the chance to serve
Their life is like a dead end curve.
I can choose a life alone
And violate God’s laws
But all too soon the end will come
My life will be done.
God is here
He’s with me now
He motions for me to come
Eternity begins God is good.
