CONCERN

I have a concern for the poor
Hurting souls that never knew
Life can be destructive
Can I change things? Can I help?

It is my resolve to do good
But good is so subjective
What I do may be for me
It’s love we need.

When I can look at you
And see the value God sees
Then I can help
At that time is when I do good.

Good things done are important
My soul cannot get in the way
My value rests in Jesus
Not the kind things that you say.

Life runs in a circle
Sowing every day
What’s planted grows and grows
We reap along the way.

Help me to be friendly
Remind me to care
If I want to be like Jesus
I’ll have to learn to share.
