BORN TO DIE

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

Giving is not my strong suit. I tend to count my gifts. I give them willingly but not necessarily with great vigor. God gave hilariously. With joy and excitement He walked that difficulty road to the cross. He did it for me. Bless the name of the Lord.

Born to Die John 3:16

Born to die, yet we live
Our time is programmed in
Days of hurt and pain
That’s all the world can give.

We see the need around us
Never distant or over there
Yet time is going quickly by
While I wait to help.

Spending all my waking hours
Seeking love and you
Do you know my name?
Can you end my pain?

Helpful as we try to be
It never seems enough
Truth be told it is always too little
I’m just a weary soul.

But one who can resolve it
Fought to Calvary
He brings the things I need
He provides solace for my soul.

Death is such a blinding force
It covers all mankind
The light burst forth from Calvary
Birthing life for me.
