Awesome God, wondrous friend
Makes a way for me
Even when the day is dark
His love touches me.

Ruling from a hidden post
Always in the know
No one ever sees the Lord
But He is here and close

Testing me at every turn
Troubles without end
Never fear He promised me
Said He was my friend.

Glorious God and mighty King
Rich and strong, eternal
Worthy of my every thought
Knowing all that befalls me.

God in Christ came for me
Failures not my course
The world cannot crash my life
His victory stands, I’m free.
