Another Day Psalm 66

Just another day
Like all that went before
All the old is new again
The pain hurts so much more.

Started out with good thoughts
I wanted to succeed.
The world caved in upon me
I’m not sure I can ever win.

Swirling all around me
Gloom and fear prevails
It seems as though my heartache
Will always be near.

Stop I cried, I will not fail
Merchants of the dark will lose
Christ is King and rules my heart
His Word protects my mind.

Help me Lord, I need a change
Precious, mighty God
I can give you all my time
God is good to me.

Slowly, slowly gloom was gone
I didn’t do a thing
The Lord my God reached out to me
He cleansed my heart and set me free.

Failure is a state of mind
Jesus is success
God is always in control
I receive His best.
