05/01 Psalm
139:2
You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my every thought when far
away.
OMNISCIENCE
God knows everything. He knows everything about me. His ability is beyond
my comprehension. His care and concern for the details of my life are
overwhelming. I am not alone. I belong to Jesus. The Lord is in control
of my life.
05/02 Isaiah
53:1
Who has believed our message? To whom will the LORD reveal his saving
power?
SALVATION
Jesus said that whoever would like to be saved can be saved. He has come
for me. I asked Him to save me and He did. I did nothing to be worthy of
His forgiveness except ask. Salvation is a gift from Jesus to me. You can
ask too. If you are struggling about your salvation, struggle no more.
When you ask Christ to save you He will. Do it now. Trust Him forever.

Jeremiah 2:19
"Go and shout in Jerusalem's streets: 'This is what the LORD says: I
remember how eager you were to please me as a young bride long ago, how you
loved me and followed me even through the barren wilderness.
FAITHFULNESS
I want to always be faithful. The tragedy of life is that I have to always
guard against being lulled into a daily rut. The world, the flesh and the
devil are always trying to push me into their mold. Apathy is the easiest
way for them to conquer me. I am to be alert and constantly fanning the
flames of a faithful relationship with the Lord.
05/04 Psalm
139:3
You chart the path ahead of me and tell me where to stop and rest. Every
moment you know where I am.
PLANNING
Jesus has a plan for my life. I am not just careening through space and
time at the mercy of the world. My life has meaning and value and Jesus is
using me to further His work in this world. I am partnering with the Lord.

Isaiah 53:6-7
All of us have strayed away like sheep. We have left God's paths to
follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the guilt and sins of us all. He
was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led as a
lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did
not open his mouth.
SIN
The magnitude of my sin and the disastrous impact that it has on me and
those around me is difficult to comprehend. At times I have an awareness of
how horrible sin is. Jesus knew my sin and willingly paid the price for my
forgiveness. What a Savior.
05/06 Psalm
139:4
You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD.
LOVE
God loves me. He loves me with a full understanding of all my faults,
shortcomings, sin and imperfections. Christ completes me. He is equipping
and enabling me to have fellowship with himself and the Father. Jesus is
Lord and He is Lord in me.

Timothy 1:15
This is a true saying, and everyone should believe it: Christ Jesus came
into the world to save sinners – and I was the worst of them all.
SIN
Sin separates me from the Father. I don’t measure sin in comparison with
others. My sin condemns me. I cannot do what must be done to overcome my
sin. Salvation is a grace gift from the Lord and His salvation completely
saves me.

Timothy 2:1-2
I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. As you make your
requests, plead for God's mercy upon them, and give thanks. Pray this way
for kings and all others who are in authority, so that we can live in peace
and quietness, in godliness and dignity.
INTERCESSION
I am called to pray for leaders. Not just the leaders I like but for all
leaders. It is important for me and my community that we have good
leaders. It is critical for the spread of the Gospel that we have peace. I
will pray every week for world leaders. I am a partner with the Lord.
05/09 Psalm
139:5-6
You both precede and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my
head. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to know!
SAFETY
Jesus saved me. His salvation is a once and forever event. The Lord is
active in my life. His activity is effective and capable. I can live each
day with the confidence of a beloved child. The Lord knows what I am doing
and is providing me with what I need today.

Timothy 2:5-6
For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and
people. He is the man Christ Jesus. He gave his life to purchase freedom
for everyone. This is the message that God gave to the world at the proper
time.
MESSAGE
Jesus saves is the message that I have for the world. Jesus saves people.
Jesus makes normal, ordinary lives valuable and eternal. Jesus loves me and
He loves you.
05/11 Psalm
139:13-14
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in
my mother's womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your
workmanship is marvelous – and how well I know it.
COMPLETE
I am not a mistake. The Lord created me with a purpose and value. His work
is accomplished by my surrender to Him. It isn’t about what I can do. It
is all about what the Lord can do through me.

Timothy 3:16
Without question, this is the great mystery of our faith: Christ appeared
in the flesh and was shown to be righteous by the Spirit. He was seen by
angels and was announced to the nations. He was believed on in the world and
was taken up into heaven.
BELIEVE
I am the only one that can believe in Jesus for me. Faith in Christ is
personal; there are no grandchildren in the kingdom of God. Jesus has come
and He is coming back.
05/13 Psalm
139:7
I can never escape from your spirit! I can never get away from your
presence!
BELIEVE
The Lord is here. He is alive and active in the world. He will become Lord
of my life if I will permit it. When I have asked Jesus to save me He
does. It is a once forever gift. I live day by day under His rule and
ownership. The focus of life is on Him and not me. He is Lord.

Timothy 4:1-2
Now the Holy Spirit tells us clearly that in the last times some will
turn away from what we believe; they will follow lying spirits and teachings
that come from demons. These teachers are hypocrites and liars. They
pretend to be religious, but their consciences are dead.
UNBELIEF
It is the spirit of the anti-Christ that blinds those that deny the faith.
If I do not believe I have been deceived but tragically am still lost.
Believe in Jesus. Ignore foolish men. Ask Christ to save you and He will.

Timothy 6:10
For the love of money is at the root of all kinds of evil. And some
people, craving money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves
with many sorrows.
TITHE
The tithe belongs to the Lord. What I have is a resource the Lord has given
me to further the kingdom. The first ten percent belongs to Jesus. My
giving begins after the tithe. When I steal from the Lord I am hurting
myself. The tithe belongs to Jesus.

Timothy 6:15
For at the right time Christ will be revealed from heaven by the blessed
and only almighty God, the King of kings and Lord of lords.
DECEPTION
The great deceiver would have me believe that I am in control of my world.
I am not. The world, the flesh and the devil are terribly out of control.
Surrender to Jesus brings real strength. His control of me enables me to
see how evil sin really is. Jesus is Lord and He is in control.
05/17 Psalm
139:15-16
You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven
together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day
of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a
single day had passed.
LIFE
Every single life is
precious including mine. When I look at others with respect and honor it
bestows more respect and honor upon me. Life really works that way. I get
out of life what I put into life. When I sow joy I will reap rejoicing.

Timothy 2:8-9
Never forget that Jesus Christ was a man born into King David's family
and that he was raised from the dead. This is the Good News I preach. And
because I preach this Good News, I am suffering and have been chained like a
criminal. But the word of God cannot be chained.
JESUS
Jesus is able to make my life valuable and usable. He will change me if I
let Him. He is seeking to equip me to accomplish His plan for my life.

But God's truth stands firm like a foundation stone with this
inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his," and "Those who claim they
belong to the Lord must turn away from all wickedness."
CHANGE
Jesus saves me. I will spend the rest of my life applying His victory to
every facet of my life. There is great victory in surrender. Jesus is
Lord.

Timothy 2:24
The Lord's servants must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone. They
must be able to teach effectively and be patient with difficult people.
PATIENCE
I am not naturally patient. I am discovering that for me patience is never
easy but it is always an available choice. I am the one that chooses to be
patient. I am the one that disciplines my heart and attitude. Jesus calls
me to be patient.
05/21 Psalm
139:17-18
How precious are your thoughts about me, O God! They are innumerable!
I can't even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I
wake up in the morning, you are still with me!
LOVE
God loves me. He thinks about me and cares for me all of the time. I am
never away from the Lord. I want to know Him better. Jesus is my constant
companion.

Timothy 3:2
For people will love
only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing
at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider
nothing sacred.
SALVATION
What others think has no bearing on my relationship with Jesus. Jesus
promised and I believe. The world is always against God. I am not trying
to get the world to agree with what I have done because it will not. Jesus
is Lord of me.

Timothy 3:12-13
Yes, and everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will
suffer persecution. But evil people and impostors will flourish. They will
go on deceiving others, and they themselves will be deceived.
WEALTH
Wealth can be a dangerous thing. Not a bad thing but potentially a
dangerous thing. Its danger comes from our sense of security when we have
wealth. We feel important and enabled. Our only security is in Jesus.
Jesus and Jesus alone is the one who saves us.

Timothy 3:16-17
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true
and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and
teaches us to do what is right. It is God's way of preparing us in every
way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do.
BIBLE
The Bible is the Word of God. It is a personal letter written to me. It
contains more than 7,000 promises and I can claim them. Scripture is
important because it reveals what the Lord is thinking about us, how He
thinks about His universe and how we can be saved.

Timothy 4:18
Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring
me safely to his heavenly Kingdom. To God be the glory forever and ever.
Amen.
SECURITY
I want to be safe. Jesus guarantees that I will have an eternal
relationship with the Father and that I will be safe. I will not be left
behind nor will I be set aside. I belong to Him and He belongs to me.
Nothing can separate me from the love of Jesus.
05/26 Psalm
139:23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my thoughts.
Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of
everlasting life.
CONFIDENCE
If I ask Jesus into my life to save me, then I am saved. From that moment
on Jesus will guide me through life. Sometimes I will need discipline, and
sometimes I will need support. Jesus will meet my needs.

Habakkuk 2:20
But the LORD is in his holy Temple. Let all the earth be silent before
him."
HOLINESS
The Lord is a Holy God. There is none other like Him. When I come face to
face with the living Lord I will be silent. The Lord is awesome and
majestic and wonderful to behold. Mighty is our God.

Habakkuk 3:2
I have heard all about you, LORD, and I am filled with awe by the amazing
things you have done. In this time of our deep need, begin again to help us,
as you did in years gone by. Show us your power to save us. And in your
anger, remember your mercy.
AWESOME
The Lord knows all about me, even to the minutest detail. He has a plan for
my life and is faithful in guiding me to accomplish that plan. This is
indeed awesome. What is even more awesome is that He has a plan for your
life and is at work in each person to fulfill His plan in their life. What
an awesome God.

Habakkuk 3:19
The Sovereign LORD is my strength! He will make me as surefooted as a
deer and bring me safely over the mountains.
LIFE
My life has many twists and turns. My emotions often betray me. My resolve
sometimes deserts me. Jesus never quits. Jesus never changes. Jesus is in
me to enable me to live from birth to death. I belong to Jesus and He will
see that I make it home to the Father.

Zechariah 1:3
Therefore, say to the people, 'This is what the LORD Almighty says:
Return to me, and I will return to you, says the LORD Almighty.'
CALL
The Lord is calling me to a Christ like lifestyle. Living a Christ focused
life isn’t an option nor is it required only on certain days. As a child of
God I have a call upon my life to follow Jesus in everything I say and do.

Zechariah 1:4
Do not be like your ancestors who would not listen when the earlier
prophets said to them, 'This is what the LORD Almighty says: Turn from your
evil ways and stop all your evil practices.'
LIFESTYLE
I am a child of God. Christ lives in me. This affects everything I say and
do. If I am living like the world, then I am not living like I am called to
live. I must surrender my life and my heart to Jesus and let Him guide me
day by day.
